Evaluation of Readability of Turkish Websites About Smoking Cessation

Objective: This study aimed to examine the readability levels and contents of Turkish websites on smoking cessation. Method: A search was performed in August 2019 by typing word “smoking cessation” Google engine (https://www.google.com). Commercial websites, advertisement chat forum magazine containing only images or videos, with less than 10 sentences were excluded from study. The cessation determined according Ateşman Bezirci-Yılmaz formulas. Results: total 62 (23 (37.1%) first group 39 (62.9%) second group) included median values respectively 48.47 13.08. number 34.00. words 439.00. Conclusion: found that level “difficult” formula at “undergraduate level” formula. These results are fairly higher education people.
